The project is focus\u00ading on the devel\u00adop\u00adment and pilot\u00ading of sus\u00adtain\u00adable, ener\u00adgy-effi\u00adcient ener\u00adgy com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adties in Arc\u00adtic and near-Arc\u00adtic regions. The project sup\u00adports the green tran\u00adsi\u00adtion by offer\u00ading prac\u00adti\u00adcal solu\u00adtions tai\u00adlored to region\u00adal con\u00addi\u00adtions such as cold cli\u00admate, long dis\u00adtances, and sparse pop\u00adu\u00adla\u00adtion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The objec\u00adtive is to cre\u00adate solu\u00adtions based on renew\u00adable ener\u00adgy, ener\u00adgy effi\u00adcien\u00adcy, and local self-suf\u00adfi\u00adcien\u00adcy that enhance cli\u00admate resilience and social jus\u00adtice in com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adties. The project con\u00adtributes to the imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion of the UN Sus\u00adtain\u00adable Devel\u00adop\u00adment Goals and the EU Green Deal by pro\u00admot\u00ading zero-emis\u00adsion ener\u00adgy pro\u00adduc\u00adtion, effi\u00adcient use of resources, fair tran\u00adsi\u00adtion process\u00ades, and region\u00adal vital\u00adi\u00adty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local dis\u00adtri\u00adb\u00adu\u00adtion sys\u00adtem oper\u00ada\u00adtors (DSOs), com\u00adpa\u00adnies, and oth\u00ader stake\u00adhold\u00aders are involved in project.
